We have impacted the lives of many including Pastors and their Leaders, Communities and individuals.We have reached out to them with Biblical Materials, Tracts, Videos, Musical instruments, Food, Clothing, Medication and financial Aid. We have supported churches in Jamaica, Dominica, Barbados, St Vincent, Grenada, Guyana, Antigua and Trinidad and Tobago. We had the privilege to visit some of these churches and take part in their outreach and Mission Ministry. In April 2011 we planted a church in Tobago at 140 Les Coteaux Road, Mason Hall. Pastor/Evangelist Renwick Stewart, Pastor/ Evangelist Lennox Manswell, and Rev Howard Herbert Senior Pastor are pastors of Harvest Community Church. We had our First Baptism on Easter Sunday. We also had our first Anniversary Service in March and our hearts were truly blessed.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to intentionally glorify God our Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit our Comforter. In the holiness of their divine essence through encouraging doctrinal truth and prayer for spiritual awakening in Canada, The West Indies and beyond in preparing the churches for the Second Coming Of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4: 13 -18).

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe and affirm that the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God and inerrent in the original autographs and that they are supreme and final authority in faith and life. That is, God literally “breathed” His truth through the individuals without the individual doing harm or distorting the truth. (2 Tim. 3:16).

2. We believe and affirm there is one God who is Creator, Governor and sustainer of all things, and who is in all things and all things are in Him; and that this one God eternally exist in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe and affirm the person of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, who is without sin: and that through the incarnation the divine and human natures are united so that He is truly and properly God and truly and properly man.

4. We believe and affirm that the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Trinity, that He has participated in all the divine acts and has proceeded forth from the Father, to resurrect Jesus from the dead; to indwell, guide and empower believes and His Church; as well as convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.

5. We believe and affirm that man was created in the image and likeness of God. He fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death.

6. We believe and affirm that salvation is found in Christ alone, by grace alone through faith alone and that through the vicarious work of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ all who repent of their sins; accept, believe and confess with their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord are forgiven of their sins, justified by the grace of God, born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life and become the children of God.

7. We believe and affirm the work of the Holy Spirit, and particularly His role of co-resurrection with Christ and his saving and keeping all of the Elect; (Gal. 3: 3-5) that the baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place when He fully enters and spiritually resurrects the believer at the point of spiritual birth (Jo.3:7; Eph. 2:1).

8. We believe and affirm the Church of Jesus Christ, and that it consists of all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, whose members are commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the Gospel to all nations.

9. We believe and affirm that there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; for the former a resurrection unto life: for the latter a resurrection unto judgment and eternal death.

10. We believe and affirm the second coming of the Lord Christ and that it is imminent and will be personal and visible. As the believer’s blessed hope, this vital truth is an incentive for holy living and faithful service.

Members

Rev howard hebert

Rev, Howard Herbert and his wife Carol are natives of Trinidad an and Tobago. They have served in ministry in downtown Toronto for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Toronto Baptist Seminary and Bible College and for 7 years served as Interim Pastor of Temple Baptist Church. He and his wife Carol are founders of the Ministry. They have five children and six grandchildren. At present they are members of Westminster Chapel downtown Toronto where Howard is a part-time member of their Pastoral Team. Pastor Herbert was employed with Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) for 34 years before retiring in 2010.

carol hebert

Carol is a dedicated worker and is involved in various aspects of the Ministry. She prepares the Newsletters; packs and ship the barrels out to the different islands, when needed. Very instrumental in setting up the daily Itineraries when away on Mission trips, and plays an important part in the Outreach team. On January 1st, 2002 she started an Intercession Prayer Ministry. There are now twelve prayer partners; using the telephone they have touched and impacted the lives of many. Carol worked for American Express for twenty years before retiring in 2009. Most of that time was spent in New Accounts and was very active in the Christian Network SALT.

lennox manswell

My name is Evangelist Lennox Manswell. I was born in the island of Tobago. I came to Canada in 1965 and got married to my lovely wife Micheline in 1969. We have been the representatives of the ministry in the Montreal area since 1999. The team is also comprised of my daughter Debbie Manswell, Sister Erla Francis Joseph, Sister Kathleen Revas, Sister Silviena Browne and Sister Sharon George. We organize a yearly banquet during the month of August to contribute to several churches and ministries in the West Indies. We also have the support of the "Laval Christian Fellowship" our home church and other loyal brothers and sisters in Christ.

marjorie cipriani

Marjorie Cipriani is a native of the Rep. of Trinidad & Tobago in the West Indies. She is a longstanding member of the Ministry and holds the position of Asst. Secretary. Marjorie was also a member of the now defunct Temple Baptist Church where she held many positions and was actively involved in many of its ministries. She is now a member of Westminster Chapel, a new church in downtown Toronto and serves on the Communion and Ushering team respectively. Her favourite Psalm is 23 and favourite verse - The Lord is my Shepherd.....

Marjorie also worked many years for one of the largest Insurance companies in Toronto, from which she is now retired.

o'delia phillips

O'Delia Phillips is a longstanding member of the I Am Telling You the Truth Ministry. She presently holds the portfolio as secretary to the Ministry. Miss Phillips attending Morninstar Christian Fellowship in Scarborough, Ontario and is Special Education Teacher for the TDSB. Her favourite Bible passage is Psalms 139.

My name is Erica Herbert. I am the Treasurer of I Am Telling You The Truth. I started with the Ministry from 1999 and I'm one of the core members. I have a family of six, is self employed and very active in community work.

Ingrid Herbert is an Expert Holistic Health Practitioner, International Bestselling Author, Health Coach & Speaker.

She is the Public Relations (PR) person for the Ministry I am telling you The Truth. She is a longstanding member and takes her commitments seriously.

As an Expert Holistic Health Practitioner, she is passionate about helping professional women and men Get Happy in their lives by helping them improve the quality of their Health & Core Relationships. She is the owner of Wellnesstogo.ca and has been practicing for over 20 years.
